A roast for those days when you want to make something with flavor but either have no idea what to use for seasonings, or don’t feel like the fuss of deciding. I recommend you make it in a 6-quart Crock Pot, unless your roast is only 4 pounds, in which case you can use a 4 to 5 quart.
- 4-6 lbs beef roast (Top blade, Chuck/Pot or Brisket)
- 2 packages Italian dressing mix (I use Good Seasons)
- 2 packages Ranch dressing mix (such as Hidden Valley)
- 2 packages Brown gravy mix (McCormick)
- 1 cup water
Place roast in crock pot.
Mix the contents of the packets with the water until well blended. Pour over roast.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours, until internal temp reaches 160°F.
Makes approximately 8 servings.
